LOCAL GOOD RESALE LAUNCHES WITH A MISSION TO TRANSFORM NORTH TEXAS THROUGH ACCESSIBLE HOME GOODS
Proceeds will fund community transformation initiatives in Collin County
PLANO (March 31, 2025) – Local Good Resale, a Plano-based nonprofit retail store with a mission to connect North Texans to high-quality home goods while fueling community transformation, is officially open to the public.
Located at 2201 K Avenue #D100, the store offers new and gently used furniture, appliances, kitchenware, electronics, tools, linens and sporting goods, all while giving back to the community.
Net proceeds at Local Good Resale will support the Local Good Collective, a nonprofit coalition forming part of Chase Oaks Church and made up of Plano-based Local Good Center and Local Good Coffee Co. and Richardson-based Local Good Pantry. The mission of the Local Good Collective is to bring North Texans together to create lasting good, from meeting tangible needs to fostering community connections.
“Local Good Resale was created to address a need while providing an avenue for North Texans to invest into their community,” said Julissa Estrada, Local Good Collective Executive Director. “Everyone deserves access to high-quality home goods, and whether by volunteering, donating or shopping with us, the community’s support of Resale funds community-transforming initiatives. Every dollar makes a difference right here in North Texas.”
Local Good Resale recently celebrated a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony with Plano City Council member Rick Horne. Click here to view and download images from the grand opening.

The resale store accepts in-kind donations of gently used home goods, and donations are tax-deductible. Donations are only accepted on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pick-up services are not available.
